Effective sponsors lead the organization through change as role models and the face and voice of the change.  In fact, active and visible sponsorship has been identified as the #1 contributor to success in 20 years of research on change management best practices.  When a sponsor fails to fulfill their role, it can doom a project.  This webinar will focus on how to engage your sponsors effectively throughout the life of your project including a discussion on the impact sponsors have on a project, how to communicate roles and expectations with sponsors, and how to enable senior leaders to succeed as sponsors.

Friday, February 23 at 8 a.m. AEDT

Register  |  Slides & Handouts

Presenters: Karen Ball and Mary Morello, Prosci

Resistance is a natural, psychological and physiological reaction to change. Teams introducing change should not be surprised by resistance. In fact, they should anticipate resistance and work to mitigate the consequences of resistance constructively and proactively, before the project or the people in the organization are impacted. Join Master Instructor Karen Ball and Prosci Change Advisor Mary Morello for an interactive discussion on how to anticipate resistance, identify root causes of resistance, and engage the right resistance managers to ensure change success.

    In-house program

Only a fully trained Jedi Knight with the Force as his ally will conquer Vader and his Emperor. If you end your training now, if you choose the quick and easy path, as Vader did, you will become an agent of evil. Patience. And sacrifice Han and Leia? If you honor what they fight for...yes! If you choose to face Vader, you will do it alone. I cannot interfere. I understand. Artoo, fire up the converters. Luke, don't give in to hate - that leads to the dark side. Strong is Vader. Mind what you have learned. Save you it can. I will. And I'll return. I promise. Told you, I did. Reckless is he. Now matters are worse. That boy is our last hope. No. There is another.

    Testimonials

“This was one of the best webinars as it provided pragmatic advice about the nature of organisational change and the reason for having change management to maximise benefits.”

    David Whiting
Lead Change Manager, Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Limited

"An excellent training program. Well facilitated and interactive. I learnt a tremendous amount due to the practical applications of the project I was working on at the time. I have found the skills I gained in this training have helped me not only in change management but in a variety of everyday applications. I found the identification of key decision makers and the practical tools to be very worthwhile. Great to be in a room full of motivated like-minded people as well."

    Evan Walsh
    Youth Off the Streets

"It was a wonderful opportunity to participate in the Change Management Certification Program; both CanTeen Australia and I are very grateful for the Heart Place scholarship! The program was fast-paced and intensive; no time was wasted as there were a lot of ideas and theories to understand and apply. Lucky then, that PROSCI is evidence-based, that the facilitators are so knowledgeable, that the venue was so wonderful, and the other participants were so friendly. The whole program experience was both purposeful and fun. I was really grateful for the focus on applying the concepts to a real-life, real-time challenge, which helped integrate the learning on-the-go, as well as having a huge toolkit to take away with me to apply in any current or future professional context. Thank you for enabling me to be there to share the learning, and to bring that back to strengthen our organisation."
